The first thing to remember is "It's just paint!"
If you are hesitant, remember murals, unlike engraving, sculpture and many other forms
of decorative art can simply be painted over when you tire of them! Additionally, although more labor intensive, murals can
be installed on canvas or other substrate over an existing wall or area. They can also be made to fit into irregularly
shaped places.
Think of what impression you want.
What is the feel? The focus? Are you trying to accent or highlight or feature a room
or an area? Do you want to hide somethng? Do you want to draw attention to a product? Create excitement or instill calm?
A mural can be anything you imagine.
Don't limit the look to pictures and scenes!
Murals are often times "scenes," but when thinking of what you want, remember murals
can be color, abstracts, social commentary, historical events, even dreams. Let your imagination run wild! Combine faux finishes
and murals to make a complete work of art. Or if you don't think you are the "artsy type", simply give me a call and I will
work with you to develop your thoughts and ideas into a lasting impression.
